About Thomas Riess
I'm from Germany, I've been retired for 8 years. I started photography in 1975 with a Canon, first analogue and then digital with a Pentax K1 and various accessories. I am not committed to any style and photograph everything that seems worth capturing. I always try to avoid snapshots, which of course is not always easy. I always try to train the eye and concentrate on the essentials. Of course, I take a lot of ideas and perspectives from people who can do it better.
